A high-school student from Shanghai, fascinated by psychology — how people learn, feel, and heal. I design and ship real products that turn ideas from cognitive science into things people can actually use, and I'm applying to study psychology in the U.S.
I'm Elena — a high-school student in Shanghai, applying to universities in the U.S. I'm drawn to psychology: how people think, feel, learn, and heal. That curiosity is the thread running through everything I build.
What keeps coming back in my work is one question: how do people actually understand — and feel — something? The Feynman Technique — "if you can teach it simply, you truly understand it" — became the seed for my first product, and the same instinct shaped the others: turning ideas from cognitive science into tools people can hold in their hands.
Away from the screen, I love mythology — the old stories cultures tell to make sense of being human. To me, myth and psychology are chasing the same thing from different directions, and that's exactly what I want to spend my college years studying.
